Identity for an online classical music vendor The typeface used for the identity is a customised version of Charter, chosen for its contemporary serif structure and its eclectic combination of linear and curvilinear elements, evocative of the construction of musical instruments. Movement in the letter sequence is created through modifications to the individual letters to make them more responsive to their neighbors. The vast dynamic range of classical music is suggested through the asymmetrically stressed stroke, and balanced in turn by the resonance between the raised dots on the symmetrical 'i's. typeface(s): Charter
